Privacy policy

This page explains what nycfiredamagerestoration.com receives when you use it, and what happens to it. NYC Fire Damage Restoration is an independent referral service, not a restoration company.

The form

When you send a form on this site, we receive what you type into it. Depending on the form, that is your name, your phone number, your email address, what happened, your borough, the type of building, whether you can get back in, and anything else you choose to write. What you send is stored on the website and emailed to the operator of this site.

We pass those details to an independent local restoration provider serving New York City so that the provider can contact you about the damage. That provider is a separate business. What they do with your details once they have them is between you and them; ask them if you want to know.

Why we pass your details on

This site exists to put people with fire damage in touch with an independent restoration provider. Passing your name, phone number and what you told us about the damage to that provider is the reason the form exists. If you would rather not be contacted after all, say so through the contact page.

Children

This site is meant for adults dealing with damage to a home or business. It is not aimed at children, and children should not send the form.

What we do not ask for

The forms do not ask for insurance policy numbers, payment details or identity documents, and you do not need to give them to use this site. Do not send them through the form.

Seeing, correcting or removing your details

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it removed, use the form on the contact page and say what you sent and roughly when. For details already passed to a provider, contact that provider as well.

Changes

If what this site collects or where it sends it changes, this page will be updated.
